Why you should support Kerri Howell
I am asking for your support for my re-election to the Folsom City Council to help make sure that both the residents and businesses in Folsom have the best possible representation.
Over the past 12 years, I have worked to make sure that the City provides the quality of life our residents deserve. I have encouraged business development and the streamlining of services to both retain and attract new business and the jobs they create.
Working together, we have had many accomplishments, but there is more to be done.
Folsom must continue to be a significant influence in the Region.
I have established important relationships for the City of Folsom with other elected officials and public employees in the Region, including the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District Board, Sacramento Area Sewer District Board, Sacramento Transportation Authority, Sacramento Groundwater Authority, Sacramento Placerville Rail Joint Powers Authority and Folsom Lake College Foundation.
I have made the case for Folsom and the Region locally, with the State of California, and with the Federal government. I know how to get things done.
My objectives over the next 4 years are:
- Maintaining the City’s financial reserves and fiscal strength
- Continuing to strongly support our outstanding Police and Fire services
- Attracting new business and maintaining existing business during the challenging economic times
- Protecting our water supply and working on behalf of the region to ensure that we are not adversely affected by changes to wastewater discharge requirements
- Working to reduce traffic congestion
We also can’t neglect what makes Folsom unique. I also support:
- Completion of the Railroad Block Development
- Completion of the Historic District Revitalization
- Protection of our historic treasures, including the Chinese Diggings
- Logical progression of annexation and development of the SOI
I need your support to make this happen.
